Albie Armfield Attorney at Law
Albie Armfield graduated from Duke University with a degree in History, obtained a Masters Degree from Florida State University in Classics and earned his law degree from the Washington & Lee University School of Law. Albie began his career as a corporate attorney, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, labor and employment law, employee benefits, banking and estate planning. Over fifteen years ago, Albie began to handle litigation in the areas of corporate disputes, products liability claims, personal injury and workers’ compensation. Prior to joining Overstreet Sloan, PLLC, Albie was a partner in a large Roanoke, VA firm where he continued to balance a corporate practice with a primary focus on civil litigation. During that time, Albie developed a particular expertise in workers’ compensation litigation. Since joining Overstreet Sloan, Albie has expanded his corporate and estate planning practices significantly and spends most of his time advising clients in the areas of business formation and management, contracts, and estate planning.
Albie plays way too much tennis and lives in Lynchburg with his wife, Rhonda Overstreet, and her son, Jacob.
