Albie Armfield, Attorney Attorney at Law
Albie Armfield graduated from Duke University with a degree in History, obtained a Masters Degree from Florida State University in Classics and earned his law degree from the Washington & Lee University School of Law. Albie began his career as a corporate attorney, focusing on tax issues, mergers and acquisitions, labor and employment law, employee benefits and general corporate work. Over ten years ago, Albie began to handle litigation in the areas of corporate disputes, products liability claims, personal injury and workers’ compensation. Prior to joining Overstreet Sloan, PLLC, Albie was a partner in a large Roanoke, VA firm where he continued to balance a corporate practice with a primary focus on civil litigation. During that time, Albie developed a particular expertise in workers’ compensation litigation. After years of defending employers and insurers, Albie now exclusively represents injured workers in workers’ compensation matters. Albie is often asked to present at seminars on the topics of estate planning and workers’ compensation.
Albie plays too much tennis and lives in Lynchburg with his wife, Rhonda Overstreet, and his stepson.
